Signs You Have a Bra Problem

A really comfortable bra is so perfect that you will often forget you are even wearing one. On the other end of the scope, a poor fitting bra will drive you to distraction. The key is understanding the signs you have a bra problem. Statistically, most women fail to recognize them.

The first sign to look for is around your shoulders. The straps of your bra should only provide 20 percent of the total support. The rest should be coming from the band running around the bottom of the bra. If you find yourself hunching forward, your straps are doing too much of the work. Another clear sign is that you have sore shoulders and red marks when your remove the straps. Remember, support should be bottom up, not top down.

The band that runs around the bottom of your bra can tell you a lot about the fit. Most of us focus on the front of the bra, but a tell tale sign can be found in the back. The bra band should run horizontally around your body on the same plain. This means it should be in the same position on your body in the back as it is in the front. Most women, however, will find the band rides up higher on the back. This is a sign the bra does not fit because the breasts are falling forward and pulling the bra up and over the shoulders.

The cup size of your bra is another variable in getting a great fit. The goal here is to have no spaces between the cup and breast. Many women get sucked into the idea of having a certain bra size. Never fixate on a stated size. The sizes vary from brand to brand and your breasts actually will change both monthly and over time. If you find that you are spilling over the edge of the cup, the size is too small. If you find there is space between the cup and your breast, the size is too big. In generally, bigger busted women tend to wear cups that are too small while smaller busted women where cups that are too big.

When you are going to be active, wear a sports bra. You should do this without exception. Exercising is not a time to worry about the appearance of your bust line. Physical activity can do serious damage to your breasts and a sports bra is the way to overcome that. If you don't believe me, look through some of the online videos showing the effects of jogging and you'll be order your sports bra immediately.

Finding the perfect bra is not easy, but you can do it. Don't just guess at the issues involved. Educate yourself and then get the perfect bra for your body. It will make a huge difference in how you feel.
