Lingerie - Go With What You Like

We accessorize all the time to come up with looks that convey a certain theme. To meet our appearance goals, we follow certain time tested rules regarding what styles and colors should be used. The same can be said for lingerie, but here is an argument for chucking the rules.

By definition, lingerie really has only one goal - to make you look sexy. That being said, there are certain rules. They range from things like wearing something that perks the breast up to the beneficial uses of g-strings. Throw in colors and materials and it can quickly take the seductive nature out of lingerie.

I, for one, think you should forget most of the rules of lingerie. The sexiest lingerie in the world is not going to do the trick if the woman wearing it does not like it. This is even truer if the lingerie is uncomfortable. To really grasp how lingerie can contribute to a magical evening, one has to understand what makes a woman sexy.

Being sexy is all about attitude. If you feel sexy, you will be sexy. Think about it for a minute. We've all seen that one woman with the look that just screams sexiness. While everything from mascara to hair styles to clothes and, yes, lingerie, contribute to that look, the real key to it is she feels comfortable and sexy. In short, it is about attitude.

Lingerie is only worth buying and wearing if it makes you feel sexy. The hottest little g-string is not going to help if you can't stand how it fits and are uncomfortable. In contrast, a woman wearing bikini panties with a small white camisole who is feeling incredibly sexy can be the hottest thing around. In short, go with what makes you feel spicy!

As an aside, there is something to be said about knowing your audience. It takes two to tango, so know what your partner finds enticing. If they love the smoky, seductive look, try to incorporate it into the lingerie you prefer. Get this match correct and you are in for a lively evening.

Fashion is full of rules that keep you from making some serious outfit mistakes. Generally, these rules should be followed. Lingerie, however, is different. Ignore the rules. Come up with your own looks. If you feel sexy, you'll be sexy.
